• Bailong Elevator: a dizzying 326m ascent up a cliff face.

• Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge: the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, above the Mengdong River Canyon.

• Tianmen Mountain: the 99-bends road, the natural arch “Heaven’s Gate”, and the vertiginous stairs to the sky.
